Holding a BSc (hons) in Civil Engineering with Environmental Management from the University of Wales Swansea, he brings a wealth of expertise to our team. Founder Phil Pritchard brings over 17 years’ hands-on experience in civil engineering planning, design and construction as well as a wealth of design and project management skills chartered through Engineers Australia (EA) and the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).
Outside of work, you can often find Phil on the golf course, catching up with friends, in the gym, spending time with his children or enjoying the Norfolk countryside, walking his dog, Stan.
An excellent leader with a wealth of knowledge and a huge love for his football team, Manchester United!

Office Manager

Lucy is the friendly face behind the smooth running of the office. As Office Manager, she works closely with James and the team to keep everything organised and on track, from day-to-day administration to coordinating the finer details that help the business run seamlessly. Whether she’s supporting the team behind the scenes, welcoming clients, or attending networking events, Lucy brings energy, warmth and a natural ability to make people feel at ease.

Outside the office, Lucy loves nothing more than gathering family and friends around the table and cooking up something delicious. She’s a keen tennis player and enjoys staying active, but her favourite way to unwind is walking her dogs along the Norfolk coastal paths, making the most of the fresh sea air and beautiful scenery.

Marc Grady

Associate Structural Engineer

Marc graduated from Coventry University in 2010 with a BEng (Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering and an MEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering. He is an Incorporated Structural Engineer with over fifteen years’ experience delivering residential, healthcare, education, and commercial projects across Norfolk. His expertise spans a wide range of structural materials and construction methods, working collaboratively to develop practical and efficient design solutions.

He is currently progressing towards Chartered Engineer status. Outside of work, he enjoys scuba diving with sharks and running local and international races up to marathon distance.

Raymond Long is an Associate Civil Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in pre‑development engineering, transport planning and drainage design. He supports clients through the early stages of development by delivering clear, robust technical assessments that help secure planning approvals and shape efficient, sustainable designs.

Raymond is known for his collaborative approach, strong technical capability and ability to identify practical solutions early in the design process. He works closely with planners, architects and wider project teams to streamline delivery and reduce risk.

Outside of work, Raymond enjoys spending time with his family, practising archery, cycling, and watching films. His approachable nature and blend of technical and people skills make him a valued member of the team.

Alasdair started his career in 2015 as an apprentice and has developed his skills and experience whilst working he obtained a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering in July 2020. Alasdair has experience leading large development projects, using 3D modelling in Site3D and drainage analysis using flow software.
Alasdair loves the great outdoors, embarking on thrilling adventures alongside his wife. From international travel, camping, rock climbing, snow skiing and water skiing, he embraces a diverse range of activities!

Lauren joined Schema in January 2023, after starting her career in Civil Engineering as a Degree apprentice in 2017, graduating in July 2022. As well as experience with civil engineering design for planning, Lauren is the office lead on Nutrient Neutrality.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys trips to the beach with her family and dog, playing board games with friends, singing and travelling. With Lauren’s passion for Disney and Engineering, she has been known to be searching for drainage features as well as taking photos of the Mickeys on survey markers and manholes across the Disney Parks!

Jack began his career in 2023 as a Graduate Engineer after graduating from Heriot-Watt University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Since joining Schema, he’s focused on developing a strong understanding of every stage of the design process, from early planning through to detailed design, with a particular interest in drainage design and the technical challenges it brings.

Outside of engineering, Jack plays the guitar and has a particular love for blues music. He also enjoy setting personal challenges, entering the Cologne Marathon and currently training to run it in October 2026.

An ambitious Civil Engineering professional who began his career in 2021 as an apprentice, he has quickly developed a strong foundation within the industry. Starting out by supporting senior civil engineers across a range of projects, he has steadily taken on greater responsibility and now contributes to projects more independently, demonstrating both technical growth and professional confidence.

With a clear focus on continued development, he is aiming to progress to university to achieve a Level 6 Engineering degree, further strengthening his knowledge and expertise within the field.

Outside of work, he is passionate about sport. A dedicated supporter of Norwich City, he holds a season ticket and rarely misses a match. He is also a keen follower of Formula 1, enjoying the competition, strategy, and engineering excellence that the sport showcases.

Nel has been part of the team for almost two years, during which she’s been working towards her Level 3 Civil Engineering apprenticeship. She really enjoys building her knowledge and laying the foundations as she progresses towards becoming a fully qualified engineer. Outside of work, when she’s not drawing up plans, you’ll usually find her with a paintbrush in hand, socializing with friends, or exploring Norfolk on long-distance walks. She also has her sights set on becoming a fully qualified scuba diver – because she clearly doesn’t believe in staying in her comfort zone! (or above sea level).

Outside of work, Olly plays football for multiple teams, as well as being a season ticket holder at Norwich City.
