Lance Poole

Lance has recently joined the Schema team as Associate Structural Engineer.

Lance’s broad-based engineering experience spans more than forty years both here in the United Kingdom and in Southern Africa. He has worked with Consulting Engineering firms and Design/Build Contractors on many new build and refurbishment projects for industrial, commercial, educational and domestic buildings. Lance’s structural design experience has embraced structural steelwork, in-situ and pre-cast reinforced concrete, masonry and timber structures. He has experience in the design of temporary works and building facades formed in stone, masonry, pre-cast concrete, GRC and GRP. Lance has a good eye for cost effective buildable details in all structural materials and has a broad knowledge of the various disciplines in the Built Environment (structural, civil, architectural and building services).

Lance enjoys music and has an eclectic range of tastes from jazz through to rock. He plays guitar and likes to sing too. He also enjoys cooking, reading and swimming.
